Beth Moore
Beth Moore
Vice President
Beth Moore (no, not THAT Beth Moore) has been a sworn officer in some capacity since September of 2000. She started as a Police Explorer with Saginaw PD in 1996, and has hopped around the state, serving in both the UP and on the East side before settling down in the Grand Rapids area. She has served the City of East Grand Rapids as a Public Safety Officer since June 2004. In all of those years and before, Beth has walked with God. She didn't set out to be a first responder, but hindsight has shown that this is where God most wanted her to be, and so she is. During her time on the force, Beth has trained as a Crisis Intervention Team member and was part of the initiative in Kent County to broaden mental health training for police officers in the area. Since 2020 she has mentored and trained numerous officers within her Department as a Field Training Officer. Beth has been married to her husband Tyson since 2010. Between them, they have four children and a grandchild. Beth is a self-proclaimed book dragon and spends her Wednesdays herding children at her kids' former elementary school's library. She is an avid gardener and prefers to spend her free time out in God's Country, backpacking or tent camping. She dreams of retirement and a hobby farm.
